Custom Windows and Frames Designed for Visual Impact
Commercial buildings often have to visually fight the practicality of being enclosed in large, often rectangular-shaped structures. This building achieves a dynamic look by mottling the painted finish, interrupting the roof line, and framing muntined window panes. On the left, the small-paned windows are surrounded by a much larger scale white grid with a frame and horizontal members designed for shadow effects. On the right, another tall Muntinned window, this time only two panes wide, is inset into the wall and flanked by groupings of three shallow partial cylinders of tiled stones. It's a very contemporary look, softened somewhat by the contrasts of butter yellow walls, navy muntins, and the white grid framework of the left window. The style has an intellectual appeal perhaps quite suitable for housing white-collar workers.
