Free Up Space with Pocket Doors

Pocket doors have been around for many years, and are great when you want to free up precious wall space. A pocket door slides into the interior of the wall when it is open instead of swinging back against the wall. All of that wall space that would normally be taken up by an open door is now free to be used.
Pocket doors are available in standard door opening widths and heights. They are available in flush or panel styles, solid or hollow core construction, and can be fitted with privacy or passage hardware. The easiest time to install the frame is during the wall construction, but it may be done in a finished room with a little additional work. Pocket doors are the ideal solution for a doorway that is normally open, but that may be closed on occasion.
