Gargoyle Guards Tall Black Exterior Double Doors with Five Panels
The gargoyle that sits atop the entablature of stone guards these tall, black exterior double doors. Each door is composed of five panels. The panels are all equal-size squares. The two top most panels of each door are the same and very simple. The next two panels of each door are raised and have a raised circle in the center of each panel. Affixed to the circle of each of the fourth panels is a polished brass door bar handle. There are several pieces of additional hardware, including a door plate. Typically door plates are used to communicate important messages to visitors, such as "no smoking." The bottom panel of each door is a simple, raised square panel. The doors are simple, perhaps not to distract from the architectural elements and detailing of the doorway (and the gargoyle).
